Gina McCarthy, a renowned American environmental health expert, once said: “Transparency is all about letting in and embracing new ideas, new technology, and new approaches. No individual, entity or agency, no matter how smart, how old, or how experienced, can afford to stop learning.”
It’s true: transparency is the breeding ground for growth, just as learning is the currency of innovation. That’s why one of our core values here at Viking Pure is being honest about what does and doesn’t work. It’s how we constantly learn and improve. We want to invite you, as our colleagues and partners, into how our system works. We want to pull back the hood and let you examine the engine yourself.
Let’s start with what Electrolyzed Water really is — and why Viking Pure is more practical than other e-water solutions.
First, Electrolyzed Water is the result of a process called electrolysis: salt is electrically separated into its two main ions, sodium and chloride. Those two ions are then mixed into separate streams of fresh water, producing two solutions: Hypochlorous Acid (VP Disinfectant) and Sodium Hydroxide (VP Cleaner). Viking Pure Cleaner is a highly powerful all-natural alkaline water solution. Viking Pure Disinfectant is hypochlorous acid, the same solution your body produces in response to an infection. These two solutions are safer, cheaper and most importantly, infinitely more powerful than the harmful chemicals most commonly used as cleaning agents today.
Now, it’s important to understand that this, in itself, isn’t new. Electrolysis technology actually dates back to the 1960s. In the United States, however, companies producing these solutions have only begun to seek and receive EPA registration as known cleansers and disinfectants. Among those, Viking Pure is the only producer of e-water whose patented technology removes salt from the final product. Without salt, e-water can finally be applied broadly, quickly and easily through electrostatic technology to homes and businesses without risk of corroding sensitive equipment, furniture and machinery over time.
Put simply: this is the innovation the world has been waiting for to usher e-water into the mainstream. We don’t mean to sound dramatic, but it’s true.
This matters because it is an important step towards the cleaner, healthier future that we envision for the next generations of humans to inhabit this planet. It’s possible. That future starts here. And it starts now.
