Joe will celebrate three years with Traditions in March 2026 after joining the team at age 82 with a desire to return to work. Since then, he has become an incredible asset to the community, demonstrating dedication, reliability, and a remarkable work ethic that inspires team members of all ages. Beloved by residents and respected by colleagues, Joe serves as a true role model for everyone he meets.

Since joining the team at South Wind Heights in April 2021, Chef Reggie has led with consistency, creativity, and strong fiscal discipline—maintaining tight food cost controls while elevating the dining experience for residents. He organized the community’s first post-lockdown outdoor cookout during the pandemic, showcasing both adaptability and leadership during a challenging time. Known for his award-winning culinary skills, he has impressed residents and guests alike at smoked meat events and the annual Chili Cookoff. Chef Reggie has also played a key role in large-scale community moments, including a record-breaking breakfast honoring local police and fire departments and a highly attended Grand Re-Opening featuring city officials and media coverage—all while maintaining excellence in daily resident service. Beyond special events, he actively participates in monthly resident meetings, listening carefully, responding professionally, and implementing meaningful improvements. His steady leadership continues to strengthen kitchen operations and enrich the overall community experience.

Jared is an emerging leader within the community at Traditions of Hanover. Since joining Housekeeping nearly five years ago, he quickly became the dependable “go-to” team member for projects and special tasks. As he continues to grow with the company, he has stepped in as live-in manager when needed, gaining valuable insight into operations and deepening his understanding of what it takes to support a thriving community.

Since joining South Wind Heights in March 2021, Sous Chef Magan Carlton has been a steady and solutions-focused leader in the kitchen, helping stabilize operations and bring food costs back under control. She stepped in as acting Chef during COVID lockdowns, redesigning the meal delivery process to improve efficiency, maintain food quality, and serve residents safely with fewer staff. In 2022, she won the First Annual Chili Cookoff, bringing creativity and fun to residents during a restricted season. Beyond the kitchen, Magan demonstrated exceptional dedication by assisting with Fire Watch duties during a two-week pipe freeze—without missing a single culinary shift. She also champions the Viking Pure cleaning system, ensuring high standards of sanitation and organization. Known for mentoring teammates, engaging residents with activities, and consistently delivering top-quality meals, Magan exemplifies leadership, resilience, and heart in everything she does.

Cassie began her journey at Traditions of Hanover at just 15 years old as a server, and over the past four years has grown into a trusted and valued member of the team. Known for her eagerness to help and consistent dedication, she takes pride in every detail—especially in preparing the dining room to ensure residents enjoy a warm, welcoming experience.

Gina began her journey in Traditions of Hanover’s Housekeeping department and has since grown into the role of department manager. She skillfully organizes schedules, oversees deep cleaning projects throughout the year, and leads by example. Committed to developing others, she actively mentors younger team members while continuing to expand her own leadership. The community is grateful for her dedication and long-standing commitment to the team.
